Mingles is an absolutely free friendship and matchmaking community! There are no upgrading options here either. It is totally free to everyone.
Instead of making you pay to become a member, Mingles makes money by advertising. Advertisements are scattered all over the Website. This can cause some confusion when you are first visiting! Most likely you will click on one or two ads when you are learning the Website, but it's free, so don't complain!
Messaging is done through Email. When you sign up for an account, you give them your Email address, so when someone send you a message Mingles it is send directy to your Inbox. This is good and bad. Good because you don't need to log in to check your messages. Bad because if you have a lot of messages in your Email account anyway, a bunch of "what's up" messages from some ugly dude isn't what you need!
But the people at Mingles aren't that bad. There are a lot of cool people here actually, and you can always block or even report a member if they are giving you trouble. The support guys are nice and will help you out.

How it Works:
